The excellent 2017 Ford F-150 is a great truck. The 2018 Ford F-150 will be even better.

One of the improvements the new edition will bring is an improved fuel efficiency. The 3.3-liter V6 (replacing the 2017's 3.5-liter engine) will be able to achieve 19/25/22 MPG. That's a full MPG better in each category than last year's truck.

Even better, the 2018's 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 will offer fuel efficiency ratings of 20/26/22 MPG. This is again, a significant improvement over the older generation's similarly-sized engine. While the F-150 will lose a bit of this efficiency if four-wheel drive modes are active, they still provide an excellent option for a truck driving experience that hurts less at the pump.
